Building Authority with Top-Tier Content

The Road To More Shares And Lucrative Leads Starts With Better Content

One of the guiding principles of SEO is that the more you hit the publish button, the better you perform.

You can have all the robust, features-laden core pages you want, but that can only take you so far. Google needs to see that you’re regularly publishing content that:

  • Contains the keywords your prospects are searching for while being intent-focused
  • Is value-centric, high-quality, and imparts helpful information to your reader

As a full-service digital marketing agency, we at Ranq pride ourselves on the content we deliver to our clients – tactical, readable work you’ll be happy not just to have on your site but which you’ll be happy to share on your socials as well.

Most importantly, Google will see you establishing yourself as an authority in your niche and rewarding you handsomely with higher rankings.

Our approach

Write. Fix. Link.

We take on every aspect of the SEO experience, from content strategy to technical fixes to linkbuilding. Get a full team of SEO experts for less than a single in-house SEO specialist.

Content

We build robust, helpful content centered around your customers' most pressing questions -- ranking means nothing if you can't solve someone's problem for them.

Technical

Have a low SEO health score? Slow site speed? Broken links? We'll fix your site and optimize existing pages to make them as enticing to Google -- and your customers -- as possible.

Linkbuilding

We work with industry-best linkbuilding services to get the right places linking to you, and audit/disavow the toxic links you don't want.

Our Process

Ranq's Content Writing Process

Building a robust content strategy

We want to help you build a solid content strategy for your blog posts that still fits your brand voice and marketing objectives. Whether you’ve been posting your own content (and will alongside ours) or are just starting out, we’ll work with you to find the right balance between rankability and marketability.

For us, that starts by running a content audit and talking to you about your marketing and content goals – whether it’s increasing organic leads to hitting content volume objectives – to figure out which KPIs we want to hit together.

From there, we’ll build a collaborative content guide to understand your company mission, what you’re selling, and how you’d like to sell it. Everything from brand personality to tone, not to mention calls to action (CTAs) and unique selling points (USPs), will go in there.

Off the back of that, we’ll research and give you a batch of keyword research around which we can organize our content strategy. We send you more than you need, you check off the ones you like, and we move forward from there.

Bring in a full content team

You’ll be able to track your full content calendar on real-time project plans we’ll set up for you on the project management software Monday.

There, you’ll be able to see when we’ve delivered new pieces and mark whether you’ve approved a draft or if it needs some revision. Your head of content strategy will take everything we’ve learned from you up to this point – your SEO goals, your content guide, the approved keyword research – and build a content pipeline that establishes types and topics of content, from blog posts to landing pages, that we’ll write for you alongside our on-page technical optimizations.

We’ll make it easy for you to green light titles and angles and work with you through any adjustments or changes you might need. Then, we’re off to the races.

Write, write, write

With a full content pipeline set up, we’ll start work researching and outlining your content with the help of supplemental keyword research to get the most SEO value out of each piece. (You can even approve outlines if you want.)

From there, it goes to our team of writers, who will write your content, and through a round of edits that make sure it’s speaking in your brand voice and that adheres to the principles of Google’s Helpful Content update.

Speak with more than words

You can have the best rich text content in the world, but nowadays, Google (and your prospects) need more features to compete in your exceedingly competitive niches. That’s where rich media comes in – everything from images to infographics to audio and video.

Supplement your pages with these elements, and you’ll have a much more robust, accessible UX with higher click-through rates. Not only that, your readers will be thankful for a page that isn’t just a wall of text.

Our rich media specialists can work with you to supplement your new content with:
- Featured images
- Infographics
- Podcasts that read out your article
- AI-assisted video snippets you can share with your audience

Measure our success

Once your blog post is out in the world, we’ll keep track of how it’s performing alongside our ongoing efforts, using Ahrefs and Google Analytics. There, we’ll be able to see what’s working and what we could improve upon – especially where it concerns conversions.

If/when we do see opportunities, our optimization team will go in and make adjustments to double down on what converts for you – while making sure it stays helpful, readable, and free of fluff.

Why Choose Ranq as Your Content Marketing Partner

SEO is about more than making the most of your core revenue-generating pages — you want to build a robust blog presence to ensure Google knows you’re a consistent leader in your niche.

But you or your team have better things to do than crank out blog post after blog post. Let us leverage our robust content team and time-tested processes to do the work for you.

content marketing faq

The Content Marketing Institute defines content marketing as “a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant, and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.”

It’s not enough just to put up landing pages and advertise your products/features and call it a day. If you don’t update your site regularly with strong, authoritative content that informs and captures keywords, Google will pass you by.

Keeping up a robust blog allows you to capture readers searching for questions and terms at all ends of your niche, but to let Google know you’re active, productive, and a thought leader in your industry.

According to the Content Marketing Institute, 62% of B2B organizations reported moderate or extreme success with a robust, creative content marketing strategy.

Within that metric, respondents reported content marketing improving their ability to create brand awareness (80%), build credibility and trust (75%),  and educate their audiences (70%).

Investing in a strong content marketing strategy is smart and more cost-effective than paying for non-organic traffic (e.g. ads). Your competitors will be increasing their marketing budgets to build up their own content marketing engines — don’t let them have the advantage.

Content marketing takes many forms — blog posts, social media, newsletters, podcasts, videos, the list goes on.

At Ranq, our primary focus when building your content strategy is on a robust calendar of blog posts, focusing on specific categories of content to help establish you in your niche. But you’ll be able to repurpose and replicate that content for newsletters and social media, so it can stretch even further than your website.

We also offer rich media features to further supercharge your blog content, with podcasts and videos to give your ideas even greater reach.

It’s folly to try to tie conversions to a single blog post or page — it’s more about the aggregate set of keywords you’re ranking for.

But the more you publish, the more keywords you’ll rank for, and the wider net you’ll have for capturing readers, leads, and (if you play your cards right) conversions.

At Ranq, we keep track of which pages are performing well, and adjust our content marketing strategy accordingly. We include those metrics in our quarterly reports, as well as reporting specific wins when we come across them.

We also take care to check pages that are ranking on page 2 of Google, and put some extra muscle into getting it on page 1. Do that enough times, and it makes all the difference.

Our philosophy at Ranq is simple: The more you publish, the more keywords you rank for. The more keywords you rank for, the more eyeballs you get in front of in searches.

With that in mind, we usually recommend a regular publishing schedule of anywhere from 4-8 pieces of strong, valuable, SEO-optimized content a month.

We typically provide a schedule of six high-quality blog posts a month, though we can adjust based on your content goals.

SEO is a long-game proposition; there’s no one blog post or quick fix that’ll rocket your website to the top of the rankings.

Content marketing, in particular, takes a while to really get going; we typically see results within 3 to 6 months for a robust, solid content marketing strategy.

The plus side is that, after you make it to that point, we typically see results snowball quickly.

Ranq is fully equipped to either work in tandem with your existing marketing efforts, or take the whole enchilada off your hands. We’ve got a dedicated slate of full-time editors and heads of content strategy to keep focused on your specific marketing needs, and a slate of writers with expertise in any field you could think of.

B2B businesses who outsourced their content marketing activity reported that their biggest issue was finding partners with adequate topical expertise (65%). We solve that by focusing on a few specific niches we’re really good at: SaaS, e-commerce, legal, professional services, and more.

And if we don’t have a writer with the specific topical expertise you need? We’ll find one, thanks to our team’s wide-ranging network of writers we can source from all ends of the business and content writing world.
